Implementation of the project begins 1 October

Public project, or the project of participation is the public involvement in the use of budgetary funds. Acceptance of projects will begin on 1 October and lasts one month, next there will be a procedure of selection and voting. The projects that pass all stages will be implemented in 2017.
The projects are divided into small and large. For the implementation of a small project may be sent from 10 to 50 thousand UAH, large project – up to 200 thousand UAH.
Projects will be able toto be made only by the residents of Melitopol. At the first stage - application stage - the project should be supported with15 signatures of residents. Further, it will be considered by the Coordinating Council on issues of budget participation.
The Coordinating Council will include 5 representatives from the departments of the City Council, 5 members from different factions, for 5 members of the public, the business environment, researchers. The main task of the Coordination Council is a technical selection of the submitted projects for compliance with the terms of the "Public budget".
Members of the Council is approved by Mayor of Melitopol.
