Mayor Sergei Walter visited the sister city of Melitopol Kedainiai (Lithuania) during the city festival, from 9 to 11 August 2012, dedicated to the 640 anniversary of the city and the 422-th anniversary of the day when the city received Magdeburg rights.  In addition to participation in the events in the square «Didzioji Rinka Square», during the visit of the mayor visited the chemical plant «Lifosa», factory ice cream «Vikeda» and gymnasium «Atzalynas». He congratulated the administration and the citizens of the holiday, and discussed with the mayor Kedainiai Rimantas Diliyunasom details of future cooperation in establishing ties between our regions.
