Melitopol Deputy Mayor Valeriy Govorkov with the Deputy Chairman of Melitopol district administration Pavel Shkarupa have negotiated with the company «Red River - Van Eck BV» (Netherlands) about the establishment of a partnership with the producers of sunflower seeds in Melitopol District and the possibility of placing processing and storage facilities of the company in Melitopol. Head of Business Development of the foreign company Willem van der Lupe and representatives of the State Agency for Investment and National Projects have visited the farms areas, estimated "Brownfields" and "Greenfields" in Melitopol (free production facilities and vacant lands of the city). The decision to establish the processing enterprise in Ukraine will be taken by the Dutch company by the end of this year.
